Like millions of others in these troubled times, I have longed for the day when I can walk down the street with my head held high, proudly wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with a large picture of a beef pie.
Or perhaps it was just one of those gormless ideas that should never have left the pub.
Either way, late last year myself and Mrs Pie designed some t-shirts and other pie paraphernalia that can be ordered using the CafePress printing site.
The t-shirts look like this:
There are 4 designs available across all manner of pie loveliness, including hats, aprons and mugs, declaring “Give Pies A Chance”, “In Crust We Trust”, and other messages of love to all piekind.
Remarkably, although they’ve sold from Tamworth to Texas, nobody has ordered a pie thong as yet. Watch this space.
