Cheese and Onion Pasty, Tesco
The most functional of all pies, the traveller’s friend, the cold Cheese and Onion pasty.
This Tesco incarnation does at least appear to contain cheese and onion – unlike, for example, it’s Ginsters counterpart, the UK petrol station perennial which appears to be an entirely flavourless object cunningly sealed in a plastic wrapping primed to unleash a noxious cheese-like gas in a bid to hoodwink your culinary senses into believing they’re experiencing food.
So, y’know, it’s alright.
